Business Description

The purpose of New Dimensions Wellness is to provide a facility where people can exercise and socialise with others of the same generation.

The biggest challenge for people in a standard gym is feeling different, seeing the big muscley men ‘pumping iron’ or the tanned beautiful aerobics instructor making exercise look effortless and the reality is that most people don’t fit these descriptions, so avoid going to the Gym!

New Dimensions Wellness is about the individual and that is why the service offered is program based and tailored to the individual needs and wants of the customer.

New Dimensions Wellness believes in the motto “Add years to your Life, and life to your years” ! Evidence shows that people who regularly exercise are able to be both physically and mentally independent for longer. If that isn’t motivation enough the evidence also shows that people feel less depressed when exercising and more able to enjoy their life.

New Dimensions Wellness offers a broad range of programs that are not limited to people who are well and fit. Programs have been designed to cater for people who do have chronic illnesses such as Diabetes, Osteoporosis and Arthritis to name a few. These programs are then tailored to meet the individual needs of each person who walks in the door. Thorough assessment and communication is the key to ensuring you get the maximum health benefit to manage your disease process from a holistic perspective.

For people who don’t have a chronic illness, have no fear! There are group fitness classes on offer including Pilates, Yoga and the popular Heartmoves session designed to maintain a healthy heart. Personal training is offered to all and is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Our qualified staff will not only help you achieve your health and fitness goals, but will create an environment where you can be yourself, meet new people and enjoy the company of other people who are just like you!

New Dimensions Wellness has a flexible approach to exercise delivery. We know that not everyone can or wants to get to the Gym. This is why we also offer Community based programs. Most of these programs will happen in Retirement Villages, Residential Aged Care Facilities and other community settings.

Heart Health Program - At New Dimensions Wellness we will work together with your Doctor to ensure your program is safe and helps to improve your cardiac output.

12 week "Never Too Old" Program - The purpose of this program is to enable and maintain a continuance of normal activities of daily living.

12 Week Osteoporosis Management Program - The purpose of exercising with Osteoporosis is to improve Bone density and strengthen bones to prevent fractures.

Hypertension Program - At New Dimensions Wellness we will work together with your Doctor to ensure your program is safe and helps to achieve your goals.

12 Week Diabetes Assistance Program - The purpose of exercising with Diabetes is to help maintain a healthy weight and stable blood glucose levels

12 week "Beat the Blues" Program - The purpose of exercising with depression has been well researched and is proven to effectively reduce the feelings of sadness and despair that can be experienced.

12 Week Mobility Program - The purpose of exercising with Arthritis is to reduce joint pain, swelling and promote muscle strength in the muscles supporting the arthritic joints.

12 Week Vitality Program - The purpose of our Vitality Program is to improve your energy levels for day to day life activities.

12 Week Back Together Program - The purpose of our “Back Together” program is to improve your core strength and stability to reduce the impact of lower back pain

12 Week Weight Reduction Program - The purpose of exercise in maintaining healthy weight is well documented.

Group Fitness - An opportunity to exercise with friends while being instructed by our friendly qualified instructors.
