Established in 1983, the Whitlam Centre has been the icon for the city of Liverpool and the primary Health/Fitness and community centre for its diverse community by providing every possible service within health/fitness and social events.
The Whitlam Centre has for decades met the needs and requirements of all who have walked through the door with such facilities as;
Health Club
The Gym has been completely refurbished and refitted with brand new equipment and weight machines. The cardio machines provide the latest in audiovisual technology such as LCD screens offering television, Foxtel and music channels for your entertainment.
Aquatic Centre
The Whitlam Leisure Centre features a water wonderland perfect for a leisurely poolside day out or for the serious swimmer. With heated a 25 metre indoor pool, a heated indoor family fun pool, an outdoor 50 metre pool, an outdoor family fun pool and a kiddie�s inflatable fun run. So come and splash up some fun or relax in the poolside sauna or spa. As crucially as important as having fun, Swim School with ensure essential stroke and survival swimming skills for your child; Aquababes � 0.5 to 2.5 years of age, Jellyfish - 2.5 to 3.5 years of age, Turtle � 3.5 to 5 years of age. School age levels advance by grade and continue through to late adulthood. Squad Training for the athlete is also an opportunity to reach gold.
Crèche Childminding Facilities
For mums and dads the icing on the cake is our crèche facility. Workout for as long as you like whilst resting assured your child is in safe, professional hands. Fun and educational, children from 3 months to 5 years wont even know your gone. Prior bookings are essential.
